Coach Purse $3 =) and biokleen is awesome

In the spirit of sharing some of the things I have been up to over the last year (since I stopped finding time to blog when my second boy was born) here's a good thrifty score write up post from a few months ago:

I am officially in love with biokleen, this stuff rocks! I found a COACH purse at goodwill. They normally charge more for them, but this one REEKED of cat 9*$$ (otherwise it's still in REALLY nice shape). So they were selling it for $3 like the other purses. I figured what the heck- why not see if I could salvage it. I dumped it in the sink with a bottle full of biokleen and let it soak. Took it out and put it through a delicate cold rinse inside a mesh bag and it smells wonderful. Not even a hint of the former smell. So cool!
